Leading US Financial group have an opening in their Dublin office for a Technical Infrastructure Analyst with a background of implementing and designing systems architectures in the following environment: Microsoft 95*98*NT4*2000*XP architecture (desktop and servers). The candidate would be part of the existing implementation team based in the US and would require spending 6-9 months onsite in the US.
Duties
• Perform pre-installation scoping with clients to ensure a satisfactory environment is available for installation of a product (including environments for development, testing, UAT, etc).
• Provide advice and guidance to clients on system sizing and performance.
• Ensure that installation is delivered in a professional manner
• Contribute to web based support documents.
• Conduct miscellaneous technical consulting for clients.
Excellent understanding of Microsoft 95*98*NT4*2000*XP architecture (desktop and servers)
• Initial implementation will be on VMWare and Windows 2000
• Web services experience is highly desirable.
• Systems administration*operations experience in document management products (particularly Documentum) is highly desirable
• A broad Oracle*Unix*IIS Server*ASP background is desirable but not essential
• Lead the technical implementation of solutions
• Resolve issues and report constraints to project management
• Basic understanding of investment industry is desirable
